The poster campaign, All you need to know, a response to a D&AD brief, promotes the "Metro way of thinking", cutting out all the unnecessary information and providing only the essentials needed to understand a given topic. The posters give a short summary of a usually lengthy topic, such as Hamlet, Van Gogh and the Titanic, conveying the Metro style of news reporting by summing up the overall gist of the topic in just a few lines.
The humorous shortening of the stories are the strength of this campaign and the posters have few other visual distractions. The copy driven posters are plain and simple, getting the message across in a clear way that is quickly understood by passers-by. They will appear at bus stops, on the sides of busses, in tube and train stations, and inside tube carriages.
